To celebrate Heart's Make Me A Millionaire 2024 final, Amanda Holden decided to upgrade her commute to Heart HQ where we made Samantha Hayes £1,000,000 richer.
The final of Heart's Make Me A Millionaire 2024 took place on Friday, 10th May, and Amanda Holden showed up to the big moment in style, dancing under Tower Bridge in a gold sequin jumpsuit on a speed boat on River Thames - iconic!
Heart's Make Me A Millionaire made Samantha Hayes £1,000,000 richer today, with the highlights from the day now available to relive on Global Player.
As the show was due to start at 6:30am, Jamie was sat in the Heart studio ready to kick the final off, dressed in his finery - including a golden bowtie - however, his co-presenter was no where to be found.
Spoiler! Amanda was actually commuting to the studios in the most fabulous style, dancing on the front of a speed boat as it sped down the River Thames.
Fast forward to the Grand Final of Make Me A Millionaire and Amanda was in the vault with Sammy as she opened the box which revealed her to be the winner of a life-changing £1,000,000.
Samantha, a chiropractor from Colchester in Essex, turned down £4,000 on 22nd February for a chance to become a millionaire – and now that dream has come true.
Standing in the vault at Heart HQ, Samantha picked box number four, later revealing to Jamie Theakston and Amanda Holden that in the moment she felt her late date's hand on her shoulder, telling her 'go for it, that's the one'.
Sammy is now planning how she will spend her £1,000,000 and - having got married just two weeks ago - a luxurious honeymoon is very much on the cards.
As well as buying her husband Alex a Rolex, Sammy also wants to use the money to help grow her family, with her and her husband planning to give their two-year-old son Albert a sibling.
She explained that this huge cash prize will put them in a financially secure place to take that next step.
